B&O Subwoofer issue

Hi all,

Had the car nearly 2 years and B&O stereo has been awesome. Just got it back from a repair to a stone chip on the bonnet where the lacquer was peeling. Noticed straight away that the stereo sounded wrong. Seems to me the sub isn't working. Not sure why they'd need to go anywhere near it for a bonnet respray but they had as the boot floor wasn't fitted properly. If I turn the bass setting down to zero the sub control does nothing. Strangely if I turn the bass up the sub control does seem to add a tiny amount of additional bass but nothing like it should. I have checked and the sub is connected.

Anybody have any ideas why this could be? Please can someone with B&O turn the bass setting to zero and confirm turning the sub up makes a huge difference (as I imagine it will) and let me know. Who should I report this to? The bodyshop who had it or Audi as warranty or both?

Thanks in advance.

Paul

Maybe they had a route around in the boot for a sticker with the paint code ?

Sounds obvious but try removing the connector, check for any damage/misalignment and refit.

I would do the same. But sounds like someone has been having a nosey. Is the amp fan sounding??
