What it is with sepang and ch-r flooding this thread lately!! Nice cars by the way!
Hard to beat a snow foam Sunday shot!
I'm using Auto Finesse Avalanche snow foam, with my car finished in 3 coats of Definitive Wax Show Edition
Hi Ryan l have tried this snow foam didn't rate it much at all for its actual cleaning power,OK for the summer months but lacked the cleaning power of ultimate snow foam for the winter months,
SNAP!My S3 Sedan with BBS CH-R 8,5x20 and 235/30 R20.
Was gonna raise this as a separate thread but seeing as you guys are talking about it...
What's everyone preferred snow foam and would it work better through a hot steam cleaner or standard cold one as I'm toying with the idea of getting a heated one. Cold water through pressure water doesn't do the job does it... you always need to revisit with a sponge. Was hoping to get most of the up and coming winter crud off my S3 with a snow foam and pressure wash.
Also, what sort of lance will work with a B&Q (McAllister) electric pressure water? Anyone investigated the lance/bottle issue in detail?
Snow foam isn't made to completely clean your car by itself. The main purpose of snow foam is to soften and degrade the worst of the dirt and pull it away from the paint safely. The remaining dirt should then be removed using a safe 2 bucket wash method with a lambs wool wash mitt.
Snow foam will do well on its own if your car is covered in a light dust or some very minor soiling.
As for my preferred snow foam, I can't recommend Auto Finesse Avalanche enough.
Mine gets a snow foam rinse every other day, and a 2 bucket mitt wash once or twice a week. My wheels get done with wheel woolies and a Dooka wheel mitt every time I do the foam rinse.
I can't stand even having dust on my car!
Here's a pic just after my wash yesterday once I'd finished the car with Auto Finesse Finale and tyres finished with Auto Finesse Gloss
You got way too much time on yer hands!

@Holtt - You must have a dusty garage or may be its a 8V S3 thing as my S4 doesn't suffer this
Seems to get dusty so fast, or maybe its just the colour that isnt dirt friendly.
Huge tyre's on the "S3 Sedan"...lol, my RCZ had almost the same wheel/tyre size 235/40/19 the tyres where megabucks, Conti's as well, £270 a corner for the RCZ...@drjim .....lovely saloon there mate. Think it's the first Daytona I've seen with BSP
