Hi All,

I have been searching for an answer but couldnt seem to find one - I have just purchased a 64 plate 8v s3 and it hasnt had sat nav enabled yet.. Audi want £500 for it. Is this my only option?

Is it just needing coded in Darren
 
I'm not sure how it works.. never had to do this before. .also.. do people actually pay £500 for it??
 
Not heard of anyone paying £500. If it just needs coding with vcds I can get someone to do for you
 
It's not a coding issue unfortunately, it needs activating via VAS/gecko (licensing), and at present only Audi dealers can do this, there are no hacks or cracks available. If you did manage to find a hack then it would void warranty on your MMI system if the dealer scanned the car, as the known MMI 3GP hack (which does not work on the A3) is easy to spot .
