Hi All,

After 6 years, I'm now done with the B5s.:disrelieved:

I have got myself an A5 3.0, and the wife has her 3.0 Allroad.

The blue saloon is going to the auctions, and the Maroon Estate will get broken/sent to scrappies.
Anybody interested in either/both let me know before tomorrow via PM as I'm taking the saloon in tomorrow.

Both were great cars, the saloon was one of the best I've had!
I may put spares on the classified/e-bay if I get around to it

Many thanks to all on the B5 forum who helped me out when I got stuck - I'll still be on the A5 and A6 forum

:sorrow:

What, no more working on cars at midnight, when there's snow falling and you've work the next day?

Sorry to see you leave PAULF, but the B5s are getting on in years. When I change I'll be looking for nice A4 Allroad. Still too expensive just now. My Amtrak Locomotive has cleared 167k. Here's a shot taken a few weeks ago in Stonehaven.

You can pick up Allroads at an ok price if you are lucky - I was 6K for hers early last year (suspension and EM light on - easy fix with VCDS and new flaps)
My saloon had done 160K - it will be interesting to see if the A5 copes with my driveway as well as the B5!

It's the A4 Allroad. Cheapest I've seen is £13,500 for 100k plus miles, no thanks. Did see a nice one on Autotrader with panoramic roof, but it was auto and could have been tidier. Regards your A5, reckon you'll be fitting Meyle HD control arms in a year or so. Your drive (aka Roman road) will turn 'em to pulp in a year or so.

I'm afraid you may be correct - I'l post how it goes!
