My headlights have gone all cloudy ive used wet n dry, polish etc etc and its time they need replacing. Has anyone replaced there headlights with aftermarket ones? if where did you get them?,how much? and do you have any pictures?
Do you lose the motors if you swap them?
Thanks for your help with this in advance

If you buy decent ones then they will probably gone with motors of not sure can remove them from the old units.

Make sure they are set on rhd as slot of aftermarket units are switchable inside. Then get the lights aligned by mot station.

I personally have never seen and nice looking aftermarket ones that I like enough to put on my own car.

There are lots of kits out there to polish up the headlights. Done my friends recently and look like new again. I believe was a 3M kit. Very impressed with it.

flat the lense with p2000 and then spray the lense with good quality laquer works a treat did mine fine. Its only the original factory laquer that comes off.I did a thread on it somewhere.

To add my 2pence...

As Perry30sport mentions, I would strongly consider sticking to OEM light housing and then putting an aftermarket HID kit in like a lot of us on here.

Unfortunately ALL projector headlights for the B6/B7 A4's are sh*t!! The illumination of the lights arent strong at all.

Good luck with what you decide though.
