How many miles done in your s3?

So following on from this I have been back and forth with the relations manager at Audi UK and Newcastle Audi rang me last week to offer me £250 as a good will gesture.
I'll take that to be fair!
it sort of makes up for the hassle that has been caused for the above.
I wasn't expecting much to be honest.

I think thats the least they can do, you dont ask you dont get, youve had a lot of faults...I have the door rattle which seems worse when I have the window up which is generally only when its raining a lot, which is most of the time in Manchester, not really its more like four seasons in one day !

...currently around 820mi (just over 1,300km). My S3 was delivered on 07/08/2015, so just under a month. 620mi (1,000km) of the 820mi was the trip between Brisbane & Sydney!
Only get to drive it on weekends as I live in Sydney CBD and walk to and from work and shops etc.

My S3 just turned 18k miles this morning. I have done approx 12k of those. Some small rattles and bumps/creaks etc but nothing major except the "Characteristic" (engine rattle). Steering sometimes feels a bit funny/jolty when turning on full lock but for time being I am putting it down to road surfaces... Still enjoying driving it and sometimes still give myself a fright when accelerating past a "slower" car..up to national speed limits of course..

41k miles since Jan 14. Has barely used any oil between services. Average of 32mpg according to the computer.
Two major problems to date;
After just 1500 miles, the turbo failed and the fix also included a new high pressure fuel pump and Cat. Recovered by the RAC at the time of failure and lost the car for 4 weeks
Second failure occurred in Germany at the end of June, on my way down to Italy. Pushing on a bit on the autobahn, a warning light appeared and car started to misfire. Lucky to roll into a rest area at which point the engine died and refused to start. Failed injector on cyclinder 3 the cause. Car recovered to the Audi dealer in Ulm who carried out the repair. The car was returned to me in the UK 6 weeks later...
I keep the car until 80k miles are up so it will be interesting to see how that goes...

7 weeks in a few days time and should nudge 4000 miles by time I get back from France later in the week.

Holy moses Dave, 4k!!!
Just about 6 weeks for me and around 750 miles
Usually average 700-800/month (9-10k a year) but.....
Nearly 2000 miles holiday to France and 2 x 500 mile business trips notch up a few extra
Would normally get hire cars for the business trips but as I am getting "free" miles until correct spec car arrives I am taking advantage
