Having read numerous threads between these 2 fountains of knowledge I think it's time maybe to have a bit more banter associated?

A recent post in the B8 forum mentioned that if you want a fight go to the 8V forum lol...

Anyway I will start it off..

The B&O system is far superior in the A4 even though it's older, like my wife...

'superior' B&O systems are wasted on A4's because of all the classical and taylor swift that gets played on them... its a heady mix i understand

I heard a rumor their is a "swift" mode on A4 drive select that sits some way below economy in terms of throttle and steering response that is the preferred option among A4 owners

That mode doesnt sound like it has much go(at) to it...

I think the B8 guys have a point, the 8V forum does have problems.

Is the B&O system in the A4 the same as would be in the RS5?
The 8v B&O is head and shoulders over the RS5 B&O.

Think it is the same and you definitely need your hearing checking out then mate..
There have been numerous threads on how better the B&O system is in the B8...

I don't like Taylor Swift either :whistle2:

I have to disagree. I have had and lived with both systems, and now have neither, so like to think my view is unblinkered by the system/car I own.
The 8V is definitely better. Sounds far crisper and keeps that crispness to a higher volume. I like to turn the bass down a touch and the and treble up a touch, and for those purposes the 8V wins.

My wife has a Q5 with the upgraded Audi system and I think it's as good as the B&O was in the RS5.
All of that said, the soundtrack in the RS5 was vastly superior.
