Firstly Hi! As a new member I have found so many threads invaluable as I pick my way through the maze before (hopefully) ordering only my second Audi and first RS model.

Perusing the brochure as I do almost daily, I noticed the LHD photo of the centre console illustrating he Start/Stop button places it next to the driver on the left of the cabin (pg 51). But when looking at owner's pics, in the UK (RHD), it seems Audi install the same centre console and thus the Start/Stop button is adjacent to your front passenger.

Does this sort of thing ever get rectified by Audi on later versions or is it simply tolerated by the UK and other RHD markets? I was set for the Advanced Key feature but now I'm not sure!!

I am sure my wife is sick of my research and now I've found this forum I am even more addicted to find out all I can!!

If you look at any A3 with this facility, they are all on the left. You could argue that if you have a LHD, the volume is on the wrong side.

Like many things all manufacturers will look for things the can keep uniform and standard whether LHD or RHD. I doubt they will change this....what I don't know is if anyone is technically savvy is it something you could swap ourselves?!

Well that's me sold then, wasn't saying it was wrong more posing a question about if it works; which it sounds like it does... Would be interested if anyone else has even noticed ir is it just perfect where it is?!
