I want to get Xenon white lights with blue tint installed into my car, but, I'm not too sure which lights i should get fitted. :/
It's a 5 door 2013 plate.

Thanks in advance

I really wouldn't bother. Xenon's require headlight washer jets in the front bumpers by law - by not doing so you risk failing the MOT.

I had Xenon's in a previous car and really missed them when I bought a TT with halogens. Retrofitting would have been so complicated and expensive I just sold it and bought a new A3 with Xenon's as standard.

Retro fitting Xenons does not require the washer and won't fail the MOT, it's an EU legislation to fit them to new cars with Xenons or LED headlights.

Some inexpereicned MOT testers don't even know this fact and will ignore wsher that don't work or are not fitted.

Why do they require washer specifically for xenon's?

Its all to do with refracted beam patterens and the extra brightness. Dirty light covers, not lenses anymore, can cause refraction that splits the brighter beam casuing issues for oncoming vehicles.

Arguably the washers can't clean of bugs etc so they may not be a total solution anyway. The old Volvo's, Saab's and Merc's fitted with little mini headlight wipers were better at cleaning but this was long before Xenons and they are an issue in crash situation and the 5th star of the Euro Encap test (5th star is all about pedestrian safety).

Thanks for the info! Thats actually a good reason to require it
