Depends on which black pack you have, the old one was satin balck.

My RS4 is all gloss black but thsi is not the same for every car, it depends on age.

mine is gloss black finish for most but the grille bits are matt black and looking at yours I think that matt black front rings are the way to go - thanks !!!

Just ordered the gloss black front and rear rings and the black sline ones for the front wings.

Yea went with raywell design for them all.
Not sure how long they take to come though?

yeah ,think i might do the same. i did order s line and quattro badges from two different places, and the red wasn't the same on the s line or the quattro badge unfortunately. A lot of people wouldn't of noticed it but it bothered me.

I have plasti-dipped badges before but I thought as there is a good quality product for these why not use them. Hoping the front rings will be easy enough to do without removing anything.

No chance, I've tried and given up for now, when the car gets revo'd and lowered I will be getting them to do it

just de-badged the back and fitted a slightly smaller black circles motif with a new plate holder with s line legend - think it looks better with fewer bits

front and wing mirrors to do when decals and motif arrive - gone for white and will see how they look

Black Rings on red look great. Yeah, get a plain black plate cover.

Sure you guys have all sorts but I use a great product for removing the glue residue after debadging. Its called Remove. Its used in the hospital to get adhesive off sensitive skin when removing tape. Its in sachets. So, if anyones a Dr or nurse or spouses are. Should be able to get it from a chemist too. Very soft on paintwork.

Thats a little bit different. I really like absolutely everything in black.

Or remove plate cover all together, nver have liked them, I personally preffer a plate only, I even remove the dealer tags that appear on a new car.

A simple custom plate from www.fancyplates.com with balck boarder and black UK badge with Euro rings so covers continental driving.

Unluckily we don't have that option. We can get all sorts of sizes, colours etc but at the end of the day they are a pressed metal job and don't look good outside of a cover.

Black & red quattro badge I reckon

Badge looks good, plate holder looks too fussy IMHO.

quite like the plate holder myself (looks like a lot of European plate holders) but considering carbon plate lettering replacement might look better ?

Also got the white front circles and mirror decals but don't think they will look right so am painting them black and reordered the decals - - afterthought with a black edition - why put white on :notworking:

so - went for black gloss circles with a new carbon lettered plate with a black euro bit - pretty pleased with it :cheerful:

Very nice. Howndidnyou get on with the rings? I have tried every thing. Got one clip out and the badge seems glued in as well as the clips.

Took the cover off that the thread above advised between the front and the radiator but this did not give me any help TBH as the clips are very hard to get to.

So, I just used a very narrow electricians screwdriver and as I had bought a replacement looked to where the clips are on the circles and eased it into the join between the circle and the outer housing and pushed the screwdriver down until the clip could be unclipped and then put a matchstick into the gap so the clip couldn't re-engage. Worked around the clips until all were disengaged then pulled it out - there is no glue holding the item in and once you have a couple out it gets easier - snapped two clips but as I was replacing didn't mind - just be patient !!!

That looks bang on Terry. The Black S grille is "open", and I think it carries the black rings really well. Black on red? lovely combination.

Cheers Chucky - yep looks even better in the flesh as I used Audi Phantom black for the circles which is a pearlescent finish so the flecks shimmer a bit in sunlight and has more of a satin finish.

Quick plasti dip job
