Yep it's blue for an iPod classic and gives me album art. USB socket is just to the left of mmi socket.

Did see somewhere blue didn't give album art - but i guess what you're saying is proof it does and you've the same set-up as me so happy days - hopefully i'll get the pack with the blue lead (4F0051510K) to connect the iPod classic and a USB lead (4F00510510Q) for any other storage device as i'm not bothered about my iPhone being connected other than Bluetooth and I ordered one of those usb to lightning cables just in case i need to charge it. No album art would drive me mad, it just looks "cheap" and incomplete.

Mine's confirmed delivery for next Wednesday.

Here's the thing; it's a lease. The supplying dealer is Brighton. I'm in Sheffield. I have little/no issue

with them driving it up - I'll ask them not to take it to the car wash when they get here (which is what

they usually do. The problem is that there's no proper hand over. The driver will have almost zero idea

about the features and functionality of the car Any members in South Yorkshire/ North Notts / North

Derbyshire area fancy a meet to run through some stuff? Also if anyone is a VCDS member near me

I'd be interested in getting what needs 'fixing' sorted

Yeah l leased a car before,it had 300 miles on it and was filthy........tis the only downside of a lease deal

S3 Sepang Saloon here. Collection Wednesday afternoon.
Will be my second 8v S3. Hopefully I get on better with this one.

For album art from an iPod classic you need to tick the 'Detailed track information' box in mmi settings when playing from it. Blue cable works fine so no worries.

For all the collecting shiny new cars tomorrow or in next few days good luck and hope the weather is better than today's in the wet and cold South East.

Yes seriously p****d off with this. Dry for weeks (if cloudy at times) but as soon as it's time to collect the car, it's chucking it down non stop. I will just wait for a break in the weather tomorrow afternoon, get it cleaned and put away in the garage!

***... first gripe... went to remove the unsightly airbag sticker on the front passenger sun visor... they only go and PRINT them on now! Looks tacky and will annoy me. Grrr. Otherwise, very happy and not missing the TT one little bit.

Weather forecast poor :-( Had been relying on a sunny day tomorrow.

I would of been collecting my new S3 today if I'd of continued with the order :disrelieved:

Enjoy your new cars guys!!

Pick up done including a few freebies; nice bouquet of flowers for wifey, keyring, gecko air freshener, plus USB & Apple lightning cables for the AMI also got 10% off service package. Initial thoughts after driving home, like the new needle sweep with the red, lower spec sat-nav is fine along with the music interface. It seems a bit boomier in the back in relation to the suspension, maybe that's down to the mag ride on 19's & finally the steering wheel is much better than my 8P, much meatier.
Hope everyone else's pick up went/goes well TTFN Karl. :racer:

Sun came out for me which was a real bonus. Really pleased with my S-Line S-Tronic. Seats are incredibly comfortable (I paid for the electric lumbar option). Steering feels light and nimble (don't agree with those who say it lacks feedback), the S-Line suspension is very supple (again, don't agree with those who say it's too firm - although I have come from two sporty cars previously with big wheels and firm setups). Really pleased and happy with my purchase and don't miss the TT at all. In fact the TT looks very dated sitting beside the A3. Things like LED lights are so much more than a gimmick, they really do look good and make the car feel up to date.

so picked up the s3 saloon yesterday from stirling audi. The dealership is getting a refurb so the handovers were held at an estate house in stirling, nice setting to pick up the new car.

first impressions...love it! pictures dont do the car justice at all. Had it out the best part of the day yesterday playing about with all the mag ride settings and took a road trip to loch lomond while the sun was out. A few gripes now. For a quattro it doesnt feel that grippy. The a5 quattro loaner i had felt alot more planted. Not sure if this is due to the bouncey s3 suspension i've been reading about on here, there were a few times i thought i was going into a field going round the corners.

SS seats, look great but was hoping for more hold from them. Maybe i need to put some more weight on!

Crease on bolters, i did notice one on the driver and passenger side seats along with the upper side bolsters, nothing major but kind of annoying as i noticed it before i even sat in the car. Decided to leave this as i doubt audi will replace them and i dont think its enough to reject the car.

Creak/rattle, i started to notice a creak/rattle coming from the drivers dash or door, i cant quite place it. I dont think its the engine rattle i read on here as its more prominent on the dash and door inside the cabin and sounds like a plastic rattle. I've contacted the dealer to have a look as now i know its there its driving me nuts already.

But overall its a great car. Hope everyone else that picked theirs up is enjoying it too.
