Hi guys,

I purchased a stage 1 REVO remap last year via A5OC (A5 Owners Club)....similar to this forum.

There was a few of us that wanted the remap from REVO and managed to negotiate a big saving over the usual cost. We had them installed at 2 workshops, one down South and ADS up North (which is where i had mine installed).

So, question is, if there are enough of us would REVO offer us some discount via their installers??

REVO guys, any chance of some discount for this forums members?????

Me for one. Northampton motorsport or Midland VW.
 
We negotiated a discount and installation at our convenience with them. They gave us a window of opportunity to get it fitted with the tuner.

Saved me a few bob and ensured I use them again and again!

Let's hope they can sort something for the S3 drivers too....mutually benefiting us all!!

ADS in Preston are brilliant and got on-board with the A5 gig last year. They organised a full REVO / A5OC day, financially rewarding for all I'm sure ;-)

If there's a decent discount I'd probably jump in with my RS3,
Preston would be handiest for me.
 
Contact revo, they site sponsors on here and see if you can negotiate a good price. :) x

Is this something you would/could look at. I'm sure the positive experiences of those that get your map installed will be well documented on here - a bit of free advertising ;-)

Don't see why it would have to be limited to 8V. A remap is a remap....

Still waiting for a reply from REVO, hopefully they will come up with some kind of group discount

If we get something sorted we have auto tec in Scotland so no worries.
 
Well auto tec is in port Glasgow
 
Can see this getting quite a few numbers.

If we get the nod from Steve might be worth posting under 8P, RS3 and other sections.

Only issue I have with the edition 38 show is it might be difficult logistically getting your car out of the car park to wherever the stand is. Also not too fair dragging the family along then disappearing for an hour.

The Revo team will be at ED38 this weekend (Northamptonshire), flashing cars ourselves & offering discount over the two days.

Marshy, last time we did this on the A5OC forum we got 35% discount - not to be sniffed at ;-)

Got the other half to go on it auto tec are doing 30% off on the day
 
Anything like that sort of discount is likely to help swing it for people currently in the Revo/APR debate.

Looking for Midlands/Warwickshire area if poss.
 
@Revo Steve-W If I manage to get to the show at the weekend are you working with a booking in system or first come first serve ? I'll prob have little lad with me and possibly need to do it under the radar if my better half is with me.

Also how much if any of an issue is it getting from the car park to your display stand ?

I'm all the way down south, in South Bucks. Preston is still a mish for me.

Hi Rob,

The weekend will be on a first come basis, we're in the same position as previous years, so easy to access.

Pop over to the main Revo stand for a chat.

We will also have Beatboxing, BMW'ing & Break dancing on the stand, same format as Silverstone the other week, but on a larger scale - , so will be easy to find & plenty to distract the other half, we may even bring a few bottles of sparkling along ;)

I might try a solo run myself tomorrow early afternoon what time are you flashing from (erm lol!) ?? Also any suggestion of what the price may be ?

Glad we got you fixed up with Rob at auto tec. All the guys there are great, but that's to be expected as we Scottish and biased. Thanks also to @Revo Steve-W for making this group buy possible for our members, your a star.;) x
