Replacement number plate bulb holder screws required - advice please!

Hi,

As the title suggests, I think Audi make their number plate bulb holder screws from the same material as their manual clutch plates, as it is like toffee!

I am in need of a decent replacement, and would prefer to not use the OEM versions if anyone can provide a link to a seller somewhere with the exact thread etc?

Or if anyone has any decent advice on this, as it is doing my head in!

Yeah, I saw a thread a while ago where someone said they had replaced the screws with "marine grade screws" which has stuck with me ever since, and I was hoping for the link to who or where to buy them!

That or Trups, I don't mind!

Found this guy on eBay though, ordered some 10mm and 12mm screws just to be sure!

Took me 2 or 3 orders of screws from ebay to get the perfect ones. Cant find the exact ones but I think they are M3X12.

I used torx head screws, make them easier to attach/remove and very hard to damage the head

M3 12MM is what you need, the heads rounded off on my origanals and had to use a drill and a tool to remove rounded heads

this is of course the obvious bit let's face it the OEM screw is really soft
