How do i wire up footwell lights

If you have vcds you can get them to stay on with headlights. I have it if you don't. I live in Hertfordshire if that's any good to you
You don't need to wire them to the dimmer. Only the live feed from pin 50 on white multi plug under the dash
The guide mentioned earlier shows a pre facelift install. Facelift model has different wiring under the dash behind fuse box. 3 big multi plugs,the middle one is white. It has the live feed for footwell lights. They can be set to stay on with the headlights and brightness adjusted via DIS. I live in Hertfordshire if you need help with install. Don't no if that's any good to you
Brilliant mate,thanks, any idea what colour the wire is? I cud tap into it, at moment ive connected it to dimmer switch, im ok with that, but....sometimes my lights wont dim via the dimmer switch unless they only dim at night but cant see that happening
You have to remove the multi plug,open it up,find pin 50 which has no wire in it. I think it is the third one from the end next to a blue and white wire. Where are you based a meet might be easier
I've just checked the guide you mentioned earlier. On page 2 of that its shows you a facelift install by silky. Mine is the same as that. If you need advice with vcds settings let me know. Hope this helps
