lowering S1

hi guys,

Mates s1 arrives in just over a week and planning on putting on his lowering springs for him. is it straight forward enough on the s1? or has anybody got a link to some sort of guide for a quick look over. not familiar with the a1 / s1 set up

Yea, its as straight forward as any other car. The top mounts for the front suspension are under the plastic trimming that sits below the windscreen so you have to remove the wipers and then the plastic trim to get to them.
 
mines booked in to have H&R s fitted in 2 weeks but im now thinking about eibach s , thinking the 20 mm drop might be enough , searched the net for pics of s1 with eibach springs but nothing , even e mailed eibach but they cant help either
 
If the money is there I would suggest going for KW Variant 3. The kit is out of this world @Philip_98

cant decide if the H&R s will be a bit low for what i want , had a lengthy chat with eibach today and from a performace point think they are probably best but not sure if you ll even notice a 20mm drop
