Coilovers?

What are people running I'm not wanting to spend the earth but want a decent set...ideally want bc racing but they're like £850 fitted!!

What you got and what's your reviews on them?
 
AP and KW are a forum favourite, a lot have AP including myself and rate them extremely highly.
 
I can vouch for ST X Coilover kit, which sits between the AP and KW ranges. Nothing g bad to say about them after running them for about 5 months
 
I have KW clubsports. Not cheap but do have plenty of adjustability, do not go as low as some though.
Currently at Kw having the fronts serviced due to squeaking, so not really a good advert tbh lol
KW V2's would be my entry point choice or at least something with stainless strut bodies so the threads remain clear
If I was to buy again it would probably be Bilstein B16's.

Well I didn't wanna spend any more than about 400 on them tbh
 
I run KW V2 on my S3 and have found them to be superb quality and value as always. I run Clubsport on my Corrado 16V Turbo 4wd. We are KW, ST and AP stockist and supplier so all our cars run with these products. Lovely fact is there is a kit in the range to suit every budget and requirement. To be honest the whole range offers superb quality, your final choice will be driven by budget and specification required. AP are not to considered as budget, as this places them in with other brands which deserve the term and AP's are so much better than that. Not having the S/S bodies of the KW's is overcome by use of light waxoyl coatings. My advice to you is get some real time experience in cars fitted with these kits and then make your decision. Whatever your choice, the total cost is a large singular outlay once you factor in fitting and alignment, so you need to get it right.

For 400 save a few more quid and get a set of AP mine cost £433 posted I think
