Woorlord (I think his name is) is your man for the part on here... Colin is his first name... he does a discount on the part for Audi-Sport members...

You can easily get front modules from any Audi dealer - part number is above in this thread - approx. £11~£12 for the part.
I was selling front and rear kits on Ebay and offering a discount by direct sales to Forum members.
Kits included full colour illustrated instructions.

The rear module I offered was a modified front light module as this was never an option from Audi for the rear.

Stopped selling on Ebay as I think nearly every Audi A4/B6 must now have them and demand has pretty much dried up - sold over 350 kits worldwide!!

As it is the season of goodwill I have decided to post up a link of my original "Rear Ambient LED" kit instructions previously I have been selling on Ebay. Also find below a preceding illustration on how to modify the front LED module to fit the rear light cluster. Also, find the compatible part numbers for the actual light modules.

Also find a link here on instructions for fitting the front Ambient LED module.

Enjoy............

Part numbers of light modules - only the one with two lights is compatible!

Hi guys, sorry to be stupid, but I have a 54plate a4 avant which has internal lights that come on (front and back ceiling) when I open the car?

What are these instructions to change to? Do i need to do this?

I'm gonna be attempting this mod on my B7 this weekend (if TPS can get the part for then). Just wanted to ask you, why is it you modified one of the LEDs to face forwards and one back? Why not just leave them as stock?

Thanks, Az.

I see this is an old thread but could anyone tell me the parts i need for front and back? would it be 2x 8e0 919 063 a. one for front and one for rear. and then another front module for the rear or is that what the part is?

2 x the part number listed in first post.

I believe that is stock. They are angled differently to "throw" the light better!

Is the rear ambient light a stock thing? I've heard of the front ambient light, but not rear.

Only the front ambient light was fitted from factory. I think someone worked out that the ambient light unit for the front could be wired in as the back, but the rear ambient light isn't a stock thing.

Gotcha, thanks. Well, the light is just 2 LEDs sunk in a well of sorts, once you know the idea making it from scratch is trivial. So I was wondering if the rear was stock or just made by analogy.
