Hopefully somebody can help here.

I've got a lovely leak coming from the coolant flange which i'm tempted to replace myself and the temp sensor while I'm at it. GFS have asked if its a 2 pin or 3 pin sensor??? I have no idea, just wondering if somebody on here would know?

the cars a 2004 1.8T 190 Quattro

If it's the rad sensor I'm not sure if it's a 2 or 3 pin, but. if you are talking about the coolant temp sensor it's a 4 pin.
I would strongly advise you to use a genuine VAG part only, as aftermarket engine sensors rarely work properly. Buy cheap, buy twice.

yeah talking about the one that's at the back of the engine. are the none genuine flanges are good or are crappy too?

thanks for the reply

You're probably ok with using an aftermarket flange, but stick with genuine VAG for the actual sensor.
