Hi Guys,

Spotted this on my drive to work this morning! Always see pictures of car's being tested in the "undercover" paint but never seen one in the UK. Any idea's what car this is?

Looks like a Jaguar XE. I checked the DVLA tax check and with that registration number it confirms it is a 3.0 petrol Jaguar, but the model is not stated.

New XF is out soon. XE has been revealed and see those without camo going around.

Good point! I was thinking it may be a hotter version of their XE S

Interesting... I was thinking jag but then said no because it looks more like a hatchback... do they make any hatchbacks? Thought it was only saloons, estates and sports cars...It had no boot or very little of one...

say when it goes by you that paint realIly does confuse you it's really hard to focus your eyes on what it is... Always see pictures online etc and you think that's so silly you can clearly see what it is but unless you see it parked it's actually really hard to focus on!!

Swindon / Wiltshire is a really good place to spot swirly covered XE's, XJ's, Range Rovers of all discriptions (including the Evoque convertible!) testing. Recently I have also seen the new Merc E-class testing on the outskirts of Swindon. Occasionally see Rolls Royces and Bentleys.

A419 Swindon to Cheltenham road and the A350 for Chippenham / Melksham / Warminster you will see Jaguars / Land Rovers daily - usually in convoy.

Only the other day I saw what I'm 99% sure was the new Bentley 4x4. Horrible!

As said before, Fosse Way (Starts near JLR factory) through the Cotswolds towards Cirencester then on the A419 towards Swindon. Ive seen a few round Tetbury heading for the M4.

I've seen a pic from a driver at work of the new Bentley 4x4 driving near Crewe and agree its vile.

^^^ Yep, went to Leicester yesterday and saw a lovely white XE-R prototype along the Fosse way heading towards Swindon.

I knew it was a prototype as it had in black writing on the rear bumper "prototype vehicle". Lol.
