S4 Grill Chrome Strips

Is it possible to remove the chrome strips and either wrap or dip them.
I want to change the grey/chrome grill to the Black Edition type, but fully gloss black.

Audi can supply the Black Edition but this is only gloss black around the edge and not on the vertical/horizontal strips, which are satin.
Ebay can supply a fully gloss S4 grill but this appears to have Chrome Vertical Strips

Not sure I want to go the RS4 Honeycomb route.

Go RS4

Or go to halfords and get some spray paint and paint yours black (much cheaper...)

I may go RS4 but I would have to mesh the foglight surrounds aswell, then paint gloss black.

Hark at me, modifying the S4 already......tomorrow is collection day

Scott. I went through the same process. Ended up getting an S4 Black Optics grille from I think Europrice. Not cheap, but OEM. AWE has them as well. ?Ebay. I changed out the rings for gloss black ones as a contrast to the satin bars. Looked pretty good. Outside frame gloss/bars satin/rings gloss black against Glacier White.
