Should look awesome when done :)

Looks scary all that though

Tbh the thought was more scary then actually doing it, just takes ages to mask up properly...
Have done several coats already as you can leave 15mins between coats.
Cross with myself though as on the drivers blade I had a bit of a run as did the first coat too thick, tried to sort it and it looks a bit of a mess now in one spot. Had to be the ****** drivers side that I see most...
Will have to see what it comes out like
Also couldn't pop the hood for the grill as if masked the doors shut, doh...
Will see how it goes, still on the same £10 can I did my front splitter on, so will see how it turns out.
Should've got a clear gloss for afterwards...

the more i look at it i think the black mirrors might go well with your silver !?

Looking good I have done black trim on my silver car. Still cannot decide on the wing mirror's. Let us know if you do paint them.

Wondering whether to wrap them as don't want to damage the silver ones really..

When you painted your trim, how did you do it and mask it up, as thinking you'd need the doors open...?

Just tried to get the covers off and gave up as felt like something was going to break, removed the mirror, undid the screws but it wouldn't budge, had that horrible feeling it was going to snap off, plastic crap....

I did not do the door frame, for the wing mirror's I was going to buy new casing spray this black and fit. But not convinced it will look OK so not bought the cases

Not the best pics as its gone all grey out there, so will try to do more when lighter.

Think the silver bar looks good so will probably keep it silver, thoughts?

Top job razza, yes I like the silver bar against the black, especially when it matches your car colour.

That's what is was thinking, it matches the car nicely and brings out a bit of detail that might be lost if all black.

Must say I'm a dab hand at masking tape now lol

Yeh, the black gives the silver bar that definitive touch.
You better watch you don't get a heap of requests to mask up others cars, you'll be starting a business next, lol.

Looking good !

I'd say keep the chrome bar if your keeping the mirrors helps tie it all in

If I remember correctly, the black piece does come off but it's quite sensitive, I'd mask off the black section and just paint the silver part, if you don't like it you can always give it a coat of paint at a later date.

Crappy pics, not as gloss as I'd like, so may have to put laquer on it at some stage

Now makes more of a black interior since I have the carbon trims :)

Looks the part razza, but agree it could do with some clear laquer.
Your a whiz with a spray can, oh and the masking tape.
