I asked the service guy at my local stealer and he didn't know.

My motor is due a 49K service and as it's also over 4 years old they said it needs a cambelt change.....now I thought it was a chain?

Mmm, fairly sure its a belt. What's your engine code?
 
According to Autodata,
AKE and AYM coded engines: 120,000 kilometres (timing belt and injection pump belt change).

Recommended every 30,000 kilometres to check the timing belt, and to check and adjust the injection pump belt, or every longlife service interval.

Works out about 75k miles.
