Hi there I've got a 1998 audi a6 2.8 v6 quattro , was driving to work this morning and when I out my foot on the accelerator and it's juddering quite bas don't know what it is any ideas?

What kind of judder a stall judder or a bog down? Manual or auto?

It's a manual, I wouldn't say iether, judders and can hear a banging from under the car, car still revs fine

Now thinking it could be a dmf issue has anyone on here got vcds and is local to solihull?

From what I've read they have, taking it to audi specialist on friday will update with results

The 98 2.8 V6 does indeed have a DMF. I've just broken my old Quattro Avant, a car I owned for 6 years and covered about 50K in, I know them reasonably well. Another possibility is the propshaft or it's centre bearing.
