Are these A3 Audi Alloys ?

I'd say they were fitted afterwards as the rotors weren't / aren't a UK option as far as I was aware, I may be wrong though. The option of 18' alloys on an SE are these:

Thanks, going to have a look today and see how it "sits" in the flesh. At least this garage is near a dual carriageway for the test drive re my recent thread asking for views on the 1.6 and motorway journeys.

Been to look and had a drive. They're 17 inch wheels - still trying to decide if they still look "right" on a SE.

Yeah they look fine, much nicer than the horrible SE standard 16s which look like they've come off a 1.0 Daewoo.

Ha, yes - they certainly make a difference to the SE look, but not sure that from the back they look a little wide for the body. Unfortunately the picture I took from the back (above) doesn't quite capture it.
Was it you who said they are an UK option for the SE and Sport but not the S Line ?

It was but I deleted my reply as I was commenting on the wheels in the second post not the wheels in the link on your original post. I've seen these wheels in the UK but only on the previous model A3 or other cars such as the A5.

The exterior SE SB looks exactly like the Sport SB accept the wheels. Inside it's totally different. I test drove both and hated the SE seats. You sit on them instead of in them, like you do in the Sport and S-line. If you're happy with the seats and interior go for it. How did the 1.6 TDi feel to you on a dual carriageway run?

Felt punchy enough for me, generally. As people have commented on my other thread I don't think there's going to be any issue at 80 mph on a motorway. Get what you mean about the seats, I did feel a little "perched" - I'd probably get used to it.

It's had a clutch / flywheel and steering rack replacement under warranty - I've got a copy of all the details.

They are a nice wheel, i had the 18" version on my A3 black edidtion
