Driveshaft gaiter replacement tutorial

Don't use cable ties.
Any set of side cutters or sharp pliers will do the job of pinching the clip up tight.
The above tool is the perfect one for the job tho
 
Oh **** sorry, lmao, I was rushing & thought it was gearknob gaitor, I was commenting on another thread recently of the same thing.

NO DONT USE CABLES TIES ON A DS GAITOR LOL.

First off apologies for posting in this thread. I’ve removed my n/s shaft but, couldn’t for the life me loosen the 18mm ball joint nut so opted to remove the 3 nut/bolts holding the ball joint to the wishbone.
My dilemma now is I can’t get the wishbone anywhere near (sits way higher than the ball joint bolts) the bolts (too much tension) to refit meaning I cannot fit the shaft to the gearbox.

Can anyone help in the best way to align the ball joint bolts and wishbone? I’m just doing this on my driveway by the way.
