I live in Bangor, so only about an hour away.
That is a fair way to go and get your car mapped ,Torquay to north Wales. @Rick @ Unicorn Motor Dev. at Unicorn Motor Developments is in Stockport Manchester so not a million miles from Bangor, think it's a pretty straight run up the A55 , M56. He has mapped several peoples cars off here and is a Forum Sponsor.
Not sure what car you have but he is very good with both petrols and diesels, writes all the maps himself and has a dyno .

Yes you are right Unicorn Motor Developments is not that much of a drive.(not as if I,m traveling from Torquay or anything lol).
What are they like on pricing? I have a 2010 plate 2.0t dsg quattro black Edition.
Do they do dsg remaps as well?

2010 is an EA888 engine so more power available than the earlier engine. Good ones will hit over 270bhp. It uses the tricore MED17.1 ECU.
Price is £350 all in including dyno runs. Map is written specifically for your car, I can show you how what and why things are being changed if you're interested in the details.
I have a cancellation for this Thursday, after that earliest is second week in September.

I'm sure you won't have to take my word for it but I am booked in with Rick next Friday so I can give you what I'm sure will be a good review then. As for distance he's not the closest by a long way but from south Herefordshire/ Shropshire I'm sure the distance will be worth it from the results. Just gotta give the old girl a long over due clean so she's respectable for Rick, then it's off to Audis in the park 7 on the Sunday to show off the results if anyone is interested and is thinking about taking the road to remapping.
