Hi there, I'm a newbe so apologies if i am in the wrong section or this question has been answered a 1000 times before, i have checked and could not find the answer.
I have a Audi A3 on a 59 plate. originally 104 bhp but I've had the DPF removed and a remap, its now 168bhp.
Recently i have had an issue with power loss, this happens at any speed if I'm driving hard or taking it easy and at what appears to be totally random times. I will be driving and suddenly i have a complete loss of power, like I've run out of fuel. i can pump the throttle and nothing will happen but if i push the clutch in, wait for the revs to go to tick over i regain power, i have tried many combinations to try and see what does and does not make it regain power and this seems to all tie into the engine going back to idle again before the throttle works again. My mechanics has put it on a Snap On Solus machine and it has not come up with any errors.
Has anyone else had this problem?
