Ok so I have now after achieving 40.8 mpg on motorway drive too minehead and back and I've got a fault code of 004705 of pd unit injector 1 regulation range exceeded??? But my injector deviation is on cylinder 4 as photo shows but I'm just wondering if it is actually cylinder 4??

PD injectors are very reliable they don't go faulty that often, more common faults are the harness in the head or issues with cam lobe wear.
The values you have quoted are within spec.
I would check for wear on the cams and also have a look at the injector harness in the head.

I can assure you my cam shaft lobe is not the cause mate....
And I'm dohc not single for a start can u explain regulation range exceeded this too do with voltage ?

Is there any freeze frame data to support the fault code.
The only thing I can think of that doesn't cost much is swap the injectors over and see if the fault follows the injector.

Ok so I swapped injector 1 for a refurb and still the same reading not happy!!!
So I'll swap over injector 4 tonight and report back what a nightmare Steve I do have some freeze data what is it you would like to know?

The freeze frame data might tell you what reading was over the limit/range,-0.43 isn't a problem but if that injector has a intermittent fault it might occasionally go to -3 or any other iratic number.
Has the fault code come back since the injector change or are you just concerned that its the same deviation..
As Karl says the injector wiring harness can cause trouble..
It looks like you are trying to track down a intermittent problem,but just make sure the fault code is reocuring before changing things.

So I changed the injector and the readings are still the same ... Freeze frame States rpm as 2587rpm and tourque 60nm the rest I can see lol as I took a photo as for code it has not returned but it didn't when I erased it a month ago the deviation has not changed at all still pointing at cylinder 4 so I'm going to replace number 4 injector and report back the code doesn't come straight back at all it takes a while as you say intermittent fault !

Could it need a software update it had the recall but I'm not sure what software I should have can anyone help or could it be somthing else I also. Changed loom so we can rule that one out! and no fault codes on ecu

What are the actual symptoms with the car ?. The injector balance figures you are looking at are I believe in spec.
Have you replaced the injector clamp bolts with new ones, they are stretch bolts, also seals should be changed as well.

Seals changed first with bolts still same code for number 1 injector appeared for second time so I ordered injector and replaced injector 1 along with seals and stretch bolts plunger and screw and still deviation on cylinder 4 so again I actually removed and changed that injector last night and same readings on cylinder 4 what software update should I have ?
