Hmm, I have been given a delivery of October time by the dealer, when I go in to sign paperwork I will find out the finer details like BW etc.
Spec is S3 SB in Sepang blue with BSP, S tronic gearbox and Super sport seats.
mono. pur, Privacy glass, electrically adjustable/folding/heated door mirrors, LED headlights, Pano sunroof, through load facility, Interior light package, Mag Ride, Advanced Key, reversing camera, Driver assistance pack, SD Card sat nav and B&O sound system. PHEW. Forgive me if I've missed any in my excitement

My dealer gave the same when I ordered three weeks ago. I have build week 44. Then it takes around four to five weeks so don't be surprised if it is Jan. I am expecting mid Dec. Maybe even Christmas present

Yes. BW is European week (ie week 1 has January 1st in it and starts on Monday).
Delivery from factory takes a few weeks - can vary quite a lot depending on ship times and transport in UK. Also saloons take longer because they have further to come.

As yours is not an exclusive order you'll be able to jump on any A3 SB order that's still on a code 10. Ask the dealer to change one of their stock orders to yours in order to speed up the build. My 2nd S3 took only 10 weeks from order to delivery as it was an existing order for an S-line A3 just modified in the system.
Enjoy the wait, there's some cracking cars on this forum to keep you occupied
Update on the S3!
Got an email from sales exec on Friday saying the car is built and waiting at the port in Germany. Will hear again off him sometime next week he hopes to give me more info on if it's moved or not.
Just knowing it's out there somewhere has got me excited...

They are not starting to build mine for another month.
Not overly worried though as end Nov fits ok with my plans.

Had a call on Wednesday saying she is already in the UK!
Now waiting for it to head through inspections etc

Thank you! Everything is happening a lot quicker than expected so now trying to sell my car as quickly as possible hahaha.
Although I do keep worrying myself on whether I've made a mistake... Its typical, I have never even seen an a3/s3 saloon in the roads at all before. Didnt grab my attention from pictures online at all so didn't even bother looking at one in the dealership. Now in the last 2 weeks I must have seen 4 or 5 and i was jaw dropped every time! Such good looking cars. Completely different to the pictures!
Oh well, I just keep having to remind myself of the calibre of car I have coming and a smile is back on my face instantly

I asked my missus the other day if she regretted chucking so much money at the car (bearing in mind she really isn't into cars), without hesitation she said absolutely not!!
You're right they look absolutely stunning in the flesh compared to pics, incredible how much lower and wide they are to what you'd expect

Oh guaranteed! It's just the waiting period of seeing everyone else in one and not having one yourself hahaha.
Oh well if you've got the Missus's stamp of approval you're about 95% of the way there
And yes, you hit the nail on the head there! Almost looks like a bit of a Tonka toy in some pictures I saw but then when you see one out and about they're surprisingly aggressive.
I'm sure when I finally get my hands on mine there will be no more jealousy of the saloon and I will just be able to appreciate their cars, rather than wishing I had one

Saloons are certainly still exclusive, and better for it! Just today we were going round a roundabout and my wife pointed out another one going round right by the side of us. But it had the dreaded Vindis sticker on the rear of the boot.

Just been to the dealership to sign the final paperwork and the car was delivered today so ,albeit a bit dirty, I had a look around and a sit in and started her up!
Picking her up Wednesday!
