Hi everyone

wondered if someone could do me a quick favor

could someone who has a b7 cab with front and rear parking sensors take out the parking button and give me the part number of the switch ?

im putting parking sensors in my cab and need to buy the button that sits in the dash nest to the abs button and passenger airbag light. In the cab the buttons are below the little long storage box and im struggling to find a button part number that says it fits the cab

would be grateful if someone could have a look at there switch and pass me the part number on

cheers

I could be wrong, but I don't think there is a switch. When you engage reverse the sensors activate automatically on mine...?
There will be a button if the car has front sensors. If you only have rear sensors, there is no button

yep if there are just rear sensors then there's no button but i'm putting front sensors in so require the button

I have the switch for the F&R sensors like you say. I have no idea how to get the switch out, not even sure if they have part no's on them, only on larger car parts and the bag they come in.

Hi Soot1

I would be really grateful if you would be prepared to take the switch out of the dash and write down the part number for me

I have the choice of 2 numbers but Audi carnt. Distinguish between the 2 and when I search on eBay the seller states they don't fit the a4 cab

Cheers

Had a go at this and the sound of plastic cracking told me to stop. Your layout is slightly different to the non cab. cars so may be completely different switch and fitting method.
My advice to you, is buy both the switches your parts man has found with the understanding you'll be taking one back for a full refund. I've never had a problem dealing with parts counters in this way, main dealer or otherwise.
