So as said my drop links are coming loose after lowering on ap coilovers, i bought some shortened ones when i bought the coilovers do i need them or not. Same thing happened on my mates car until we put some washers between the bolts and the struts

No, do them up tighter, lowered both my 8P's and never had anything come loose.

get some loctite on the threads if your that worried

Its not that im worried it just the car looks awsome but sounds like 50yr old landrover over bumps. Ill try locktite if it does it again cheers

You shouldn't need loctite, had my ap's and ran them for around 2 years on different cars and never had any knocks or rattles.

The nuts are 18mm if I remember correctly so can take a fair amount of force when being tightened. Be a bit more manly with it if that is where the problem is.

Yeah they are 18mm ive done them us as tight as i can, see how they hold up now. Very good coikovers tho, better ride than standard imo

Yeah i will this weekend, so glad i went for ap and not cheaper ones

Just a thought are links fitted the correct way?
One side when bolted to the strut should face forward and the other back.
Just wondered why they come loose as it's not a problem I've came across.

Yeah there is only one way really as you cant spin the ends. I did wonder if it was right that way tho
