I had the standard 5 spokes on the old girl when I picked her up;

These were quickly swapped out with my 17" RS4 reps from my old Avant.

Which were swapped out for a set of RS6 reps.

These lasted a while until a pothole cracked one and buckled a second so these were fitted about 18 months ago.

Now I'm getting itchy again, any suggestions of wheels that won't cripple the wallet? Staying 18" :)

My first 2 sets have been the same as you. now im on to a set of avus wheels.
I had a set of Rs6 reps on my old passat. they are pretty easily bent IMO

I like the wheels that's on you're car at present.

Avus :)

Or there are always fat 5 and monoblocks ;)

Geeman's A4 on monoblocks is still one of my favourite A4's.

I think Avus looked really good on mine, but when I added S4 skirts, they look a lot smaller.

8.5J ET29 A5 wheels, either like mine or the twin 5 spoke ones like this..

Don't see them on b5 to be honest.

Do they do grids in the correct pcd now? Last I heard you had to drill out the wheel to allow wobble bolts to be used on 5x114 rims...

255/35/19 rotors? With Hankook tyres... (Not shown but the best)

Grids dont fit properly.

The A5 and TT multispoke wheels above could look quite good, and ofcourse the compomotives are ace but kinda hard to get.

Not sure the rotor style wheels would suit a B5 as well as some of the others

I've gone for 20" rotors. Got them finished in hyper silver to make them a bit different to the titanium ones you see on nearly all models now. Always loved them on the A5 :)

OP if you are local you're more than welcome to come and have a look at my 18s. Hoping to have some time to swap the wheels over this weekend. Just waiting on my jack and spacers to be delivered.

That is something that worries me a littlettle. I'm running ET35 at the minute and a big hit when I fell off at Bedford in Feb meant the tyre caught the arch lip. Really want to stick to ET42 I think for the new ones.

They do another version off the B8 A4, 8J ET47, same wheel just a bit less dish. Wor lass' dad has just bought a set for his mk7 golf.

I still like the look of these. Only 17s and I know the ride height puts light aircraft at risk, but they were free and I've always loved them. Genuine staggered set, too.
