Looking sweet Dimi!!! A wee carbon boot lid spoiler would just finish it off a treat and please lower it, just a wee bit?!?!

More colour coordinating,

Thanks. I've got to do a write up and post pics of @t8ups installing the projectors. And then my 2 week long effort of removing the bumper and fitting the grille etc (first time attempting such a thing myself!)

thanks for the info on the wheels and the encouragement!

Looking good, and oh so shiny :8ball:

The Cupra lip needs looks like it needs a little sorting out in the middle and is an easy fix once the bumper is off.

Whilst my bumper was off I used stainless steel allen bolts, stainless washers and stainless nylock nuts to hold my lip on.
To get mine straight and level in the middle I cut the 2 lip struts to the correct length/angle.
I then inserted a long piece of black rigid fibreglass kick board (plastic would also be ok) inside the bumper above where the 2 struts are located.
The fibre/plastic being approx 4mm thick and running the whole length of the bottom of the grill.
The plastic acts as a strengthener for the floppy bumper bottom.
I then used longer stainless allen bolts and large stainless washers through each lip strut to hold them tightly to the underside of the now more rigid bumper. The large washer on the lip strut bolt stops it pulling through the strut ;)

i think there is a slight design difference between the 'proper' rs6 alloys to those that were fitted to the a8...i know the et is 35 and 44 respectively but yours seem to 'dip' in the middle slightly whereas mine dont.

thatnks for that...but tbh i dont think im going to be taking off the bumper any time soon! im no diy'er and that was perfectly evident over the past 2 weeks. im just glad i managed to get it back together again.

what i will try and do it cut the middle struts down by about 10mm to make it sit more flush.

Here's my new A4 Quattro TDi in Dolphin Grey...Love the colour, It looks a much darker grey in real life, but when the sun hits it, looks a lovely dolphin blue colour. Really enjoying the car so far :)
