Daz try euro car parts, sale on at the minute.
My bro needed a wheel bearing and TPS wanted £112, he got the same part (FAG which is what VW use for bearings) for £63

Paul ecp wanted 70 plus vat each which i Thinks a bit much for tiny calipers
and seeing some places are asking 40??

Lee truth be told i havent got the patients or time id rather put new on their.
they seize a lot from what i read so sooner start fresh?

I got some refurbed ones from Euros last year. The first set were rubbish and went back. The second set were fine and turned out to be VAG ones anyway. Think they were £45ish a side.

I used the cheapie ones off e bay, can't recall the name, but there's a lot on there about the same price, quality looked good out of the box, been on about 6 months with no problems

they cost a bit more than you would expect because they have all the handbrake stuff inside them.

they can be rebuilt but the bit that causes the problem, the handbrake operating lever, is a ******* to get out

I had a quick look , I used new ones at 55 quid, my personal preference is not to use refurb stuff on brakes, I've had a few bad experiences in the past with refurbs, things like rusty pistons, stripped bleed nipples etc
it wasn't worth my time to keep changing them till I got a good one so I just use new ones now, my choice

don't think they are S3

s3 are smooooth

Yup, the ridged ones are for solid discs and smooth ones are for 22mm vented discs

well, the fitment chart claims they fit an S3, might be worth a phone call at that price, see if they have the right ones

I've just bought one from avs at £80,it's a new unit so you don't have to worry about paying a surcharge on top and sending your old unit back for refurbishment.

No problems with fitment
