Hi everyone, First of all a little presentation of my Imola yellow apy Audi s3

The car currently has 126k miles after purchase with 76k miles in 2009 (I live in Canary Islands, Spain)

Now I'm going to ímprove Some things in the car, First of all, the rim choice.. The car now has the rstt replicas and they weight a tooon, and my doubts are:
I have read in Some post about it but even so i have no clear. I have read that the best offset is between et30-40 and the "correct" width is 7-8,5", but i have read too that the spacers or low offsets, spacers or wider rims are bad for the brake/suspensión/handle, and then here are my doubts. For additional info, I'm going to get kw variant 2, lowering 35mm in the front and 30mm in the Rear and neuspeed race 25mm front and Rear ARBs, front and Rear peloquins lsd, and for the motor, I'm going to do the QPENG tfsi conversion (with the 8p s3 CDLA engine) and Some mods more. And finally I'm going to paint the car in Audi brilliant black.

Sorry for my poor english and regards, Noah, future car ingeneer:yellowrs4:

I've often wondered why people don't go square with wheel fitment, choosing a lower offset (or thicker spacer) for the rear. Yes, aesthetically this is better, but you then have a change in wheelbase front to rear, with God knows what implications on handling, obviously 5mm isn't a great deal, but still. Hence my vote for et20 square

I agree with you, I was thinking in et20 or 25 square, So, if i put spaccers in the oe et33 wheels, the best are 12-14mm?

I'm et30 front and rear, 8 inch rims. I think et20 8 inch is the perfect size and offset for the S3.

Team dynamics vs ultraleggera is a tough choice. But you can't argue with the price of the TD, plus I think they suit the car a bit better.

I've gone for 18x8 OZs with spacers. It really depends on what you use the car for? From a performance point of view, 8" wide is OEM, and less metal than 9" versions, so lighter, not to mention 225 tyres sit square on 8" wide, they have stretch with 9" wide.
