Direct bolt on to the S4 no issues were reported. They certainly look like brakes for a powerful car when compared to the OE ones.

OE brakes with Yellowstuff pads did 60-0 in 2.7 seconds.

Once bedded in I'll see what(if any) difference to that figure they make.

Braking time taken using P3 Cars in vent gauge

What was the comparison of standard S4 brakes 60-0?

Looking good and I'm even more tempted now :(

The 2.7 60-0 was on standard calipers, but with yellowstuff pads, haven't got 60-0 on standard pads

Interested in this setup now my car is stage2, I want to keep the OEM 18's for winter.
Looking forward to seeing how you get on with them

Cheers, I had been looking at them too but discs are expensive in comparison?

Ultimately I think they Vagbremtech B8 kit is what I fancy if spending RS5 money, but it means two new sets of 19's needed.

Xpoweruk - how are you finding the setup now the pads will be bedding in?

OEM all the way - that way you always know that pads and disc are readily available. If I do change I'll just get a second hand set off ebay/the classifieds - much cheaper and worked just fine on my B5 :)

Bedding in nicely & the pedal feel is good so far.

A bit busy at the mo,but will give them a real testing as soon as poss

Managed to get a quick run out this evening to try the 60-0 again.

Used the same road in the same direction &area (as near as ya can)

It's been a wet afternoon, but the road was drying out.

Had a full tank of fuel this time aswell.

60-0 today was 2.52 seconds

A marked improvement when you consider road condition etc. very pleased with that myself :)

Forgot to add that driving aids were switched off in both tests

Did you have to change the brake hoses with the caliper swap?

Even better, will see what TPS come up with as I use them a lot, cheers

Every branch I have tried so far has sold to me on a walk in basis, but I know a garage owner and get it delivered there, saves me the 18 mile drive.

I paid £613.73inc.vat for a pair of new calipers(no pads but came with pad fitting kit) :hi:

^^I got around to enquiring with TPS and they said each caliper is approx. £315+VAT, I guess Audi gave you a 25% discount?

I know it was a good price at the time.
Stoke Audi iirc
