I'm new to Audi and I've recently bought an 2004 1.9 TDI A3. I'm looking at getting it remapped, however is there anything anybody can recommend getting before I do so, for example a bigger fuel pump maybe.

On a 1.9tdi you'd need a hybrid turbo and other bits and bats before you went near the limit of the fuel pump.

A good stage one map should see you to around 135ish from 105.

Ok brilliant thanks Sayam, how about after that? What would you recommend doing once I've had the remap?

As Sayam said, to go beyond stage 1 you'd need a hybrid turbo... But you can get a turboback exhaust or downpipe, egr delete to reduce carbon build up and help with smoother running... But it'd be worth having a friendly MOT guy lol

Ok cheers Drivernoob. Lol, I'm sure i can find a friendly MOT guy if I leave £50 in the ashtray

Lol alright ill try £20 and a packet of quavers

Lmao maybe worth making the intentions clearer than just leaving it in ashtray, lest he thinks it's a tip... Best of luck

LOL

Intercooler from a Scania lorry is what you need mate haha
LOL!

I see you've done a LED light conversion, I've changed all my interior lights to LED and fitted laser projectors in the door puddle lights and all is working fine, however I changed the number plate lights to LED and they don't work. Even when I try to put the original bulbs back in they don't work. I haven't blown a fuse, any ideas what I've done?

You need to turn the car off and on for the errors to disappear. Try removing one of the cables from your battery, that should clear any errors if turning the car off doesn't work.

Number plate LEDs are pain in the ***, I went through at least 5 models to find the one that actually works properly.

Yea I've tried that with the set I've got in at the moment, ill try it with another model I got yesterday.

Don't suppose you remember where you got the bulbs you've managed to get working from?

I got them off a friend who is into car tuning, but we are 1200 miles away from the UK. :/
Ah yes lol bit far. Ill try what you said though, Ill order a few different types of bulb off of ebay. Thanks!

Same as the ones I got yesterday. Fingers crossed!
