right then I've fitted a s3 flat bottom steering wheel to my a4 cab and have a fault I can't log in to the abs module to code it .. I've tried every thing possible to sort it and have now found its nothing to do with the abs module it's has something to do with the angle sensor .. The abs has come on because the car doesn't no where the wheel is .. How do I tell the ecu where the steering wheel is without using the abs module

Everything was fine before I fitted new wheel .. I've tried 2 steering modules .. Could it be I've bought 2 dud units

2 Faults Found:
00778 - Steering Angle Sensor (G85)
66-10 - Not Matched - Intermittent
01044 - Control Module Incorrectly Coded
35-00 - -
Iam Using the correct part numbers ..
S3 flat bottom wheel
B7 slip ring 4eo 953 541a
Steering module 8eo 953 549 q
And 4eo 972 133
Tried to log on to the abs module with the correct code 09375 won't let me in little thing in top left is just spinning round and round
Getting 3 beeps and a flashing hand break . Things I've tried so far
Fitted brand new battery
Check abs sensors there working fine
Swoped break panel switch for brand new one
Swoped steering module
Swoped air bag slip ring
swoped the connectors on the back of the steering module
Even tried abs module
Tried everything but no joy someone please help can pay you to help me sort this out

Have you done the system functions test?

If you do any work on the SAS you usually always have to do the system functions test to fully calibrate it.

I found that link last night gonna try it tomorrow night .. Don't think it's the abs at fault . I think it's just not seeing the angle of the wheel and because it's all linked that's why abs lights are on

Well had a go at doing a steering angle reset and I think I'm on to something .. Didn't quite do it right .. Gonna try again tonight

Coded a wheel for another member last summer & it didn't complete the set up until he drove around the block. This calibrated the steering angle. We'd spent quite a while scratching our heads as to why it kept coming back with steering angle code when we'd followed the coding instructions to the letter several times.

Did it let you code the abs or did it do nothing like mine is now
