Back in 1 piece

Well, after a very long day yesterday, I made it back to these fair shores in one piece with the car. Picked up a 2010 A5 3.0 TDi V6 Quattro S-Line Sportback and I'm massively impressed. The car wasn't what I had originally wanted as I had decided on a FL version, but I was struggling to justify the outlay to the wife! Anyway, 300 mile trip from Nottingham to Cairnryan followed by the ferry to Belfast and another 100 miles to Donegal and so far so good. Quick wash this afternoon followed by a bit of VCDS time and I'm now shattered! All in all, managed a very respectable 46.3mpg over the 430 miles including a bit this morning. But that power delivery...........good grief that's infectious! Glad I went with the 3.0 anyway.

I live in Belfast through the week and Donegal then most weekends. At least that's how it is at the minute. Probably will make Belfast more permanent at some point.
