hi
i currently have a 2009 1.8tfsi audi a3 sportback. i bought it very cheap as it is damaged. now i may either be able to get a s3 or rs3 engine, gearbox and complete rear subframe with all the bits and bobs such as wiring loom ecu and clocks, from a friend of mine who breaks german cars in germany.
now the question i pose is will it be possible for me to convert my audi being a fwd 1.8tfsi to an s3 or rs3 considering they are 4wd and mine is fwd. i have done some research and apparently the floorpans are different on the fwd and s3/rs3 therefore on the fwd there is no space for a diff under the rear.
can someone point me in the right direction please.
