Hi all, thought I'd share this with you. I purchased the wrong cruise stalk when retrofitting my cruise control. I purchased the stalk for 09 model which is different to my 07 model stalk. So the full beam would not latch.
However I have stripped my original indicator stalk down and fitted the small plastic latching section from this to the 09 cruise stalk and hey presto latching for the full beam!!!!

Yes there are 2 types, easy mistake to make tbh, the issue swapping the internals can be the slider contacts not being positioned correctly when reassembled, a plastic rod as such sits in the sliders & it can be tricky to get this back in, also easily snaps of, so best option for most is to get the correct one, but well done anyway.

quick questions guys id like cc as had it in my last golf gti, awesome for motorways,i have 09 sb howmuch would it cost for me in parts and isit a big job? would it need coding after??

Needs coding, we can supply/fit the lot, pm for a price

Look on eBay for part number CC stalk to suit your car! Unlike me!! Haha
But as I said easy enough to replace internals. I Got advisory on MOT last time with no latching High beam so thought I better put it right before it goes to MOT this time!!!
You need t get the right controller do a search on here there's plenty of posts about it.

Nigel @NHN did mine about two years ago, works a treat and can't drive a car without it now!
