Hi,

I am looking for a gauges pod to replace central ventilation of my S3 in order to put 2 gauges.

Do you know if this product exists ?

Thanks

I'm looking for a single pod for the a pillar. Is it just the universal ones that everyone has used in the past?

@tonio94 i think the user "Miggz" sells a central gauge pod, and regarding the pillar pod @daithi23 42DD sell them for left and right hand drive.

hope that helps!

This is mine hehe

Hi @g60leigh, could you do a double pod for me ? On the same idea of the one you made, but to put it there :

either above the central ventilation (red) or in place of the ventilation (green).

If you want them where you have indicated in red. That would be a nightmare to mount.

I thought drill just above the central ventilation, to fix the pod and to put the wires of the gauges.

But maybe it's easier to replace the central ventilation.

But to get the form of the dash to shape it fully would mean a lot of work and risk damage the dash itself. With something like that I think it's going to look a bit halfords stick on. Unless done properly. And to do it properly it's going to be a big job which wouldn't be reversible if you change your mind.

Yes you're right.

And how about one to replace to central ventilation ?

Something like that :

A plate that fits in place of the ventilation.

That is doable. The way I would do it is to use an oem vent and build up from that. If you want help. Drop me a PM.

That was just a mk4 golf pod from awesome GTI. It had to be modified to fit. It was horrible, glared at you at night and blocked some of the rev counter. I switched to a pillar pod shortly after this.
