With my car due in September I'm getting a bit bored, so I'm loitering here to kill time (and wish two months of my life away). I have a couple of trivial questions...

I ordered the A3 S-Line, it has Xenons as standard, to which I added beam assist. I read somewhere it's only the dip lights that are Xenon and full beam are Halogen! Is that correct?

Second, will my car have the shark fin aerial? It has DAB but no telephone upgrade and no satnav.

Cheers.

I have the Xenon Package on my non-S-line A3 and it has xenon on both main and dip. According to the Price and Spec Guide the S-Line has Xenon Plus as standard which I think means both beams are xenon. The main difference is that the S-Line does not include the Adaptive headlights which are a £295 option on the S-Line but are included in my Xenon Package.

Again my A3 has a shark fin aerial. It has DAB but no telephone upgrade and no satnav.

The S-line models are Bi-Xenon so you have the main and full beam use the xenon lamp. The lamp which has a tungsten filament in the headlight is the turning indicator :D

And you will have the shark fin aerial.

Excellent & excellent. After Xenons in my previous car and Halogen in my current, I will NOT go back to Halogen again, ever. And the fin looks cool lol.

Fin (combined phone & GPS antenna) is only fitted as standard in the UK, not in other markets.
