Hi, has anyone seen this warning light before? New audi a3 saloon. It came when I started the car, drove about 2miles , stopped car, turned off the engine and started again and it went off. Came on 3 weeks ago also. Audi dealer could not find a root cause.

Ive had a one off where the park brake only partially released but was fine after turning off and no. If you hold the park break switch you after 10 seconds or so you get a fault warning pop up

I have had an absolute nightmare with this I have a Audi A3 Sportback 2014, it has been at my Audi garage four times and I'm going back in August for a fifth time. Their answer to resolve it, do over 15km an hour, stop the car, take off your seat belt, take out your ignition key and open and shut the drivers door. Nightmareeee!!!

This is not unusual. There are lot of hidden 'actions' in most modern cars to reset stuff. I was at Mercedes World being driven in an E63 'very enthusiastically' by a pro, when it lost steering assistance and threw an error up. (fun at 100 mph+, straight up the escape road at the hairpin !).
He calmly drove the car to stop. Turned it off, turned it back on, pressed and held a switch on the dash (cannot remember which one), did left full lock, right lock, centered the wheel, turned if off and back on and all was fine. The pro said they often get such issues when hammering the car all day, and there are different 'combos' for different issues.

Vorsprung Durch Technik - "Advancement Through Technology" - Surely that can stand for take off your seatbelt, take out your ignition key and open and shut your door to clear a fault, Reallly!!!

Had this once but never again, just a false alarm I think.

I always leave the car in gear when parked on inclines anyway.
