20 weeks on factory orders

I was already to order a new A5 black ed plus until he quoted me on a 5 months delivery for a factory order
5 bleeding months has put me right off even though I would have all the extras I ever wanted.
 
I ordered my A5 BE+ at the beginning of March and was given a build week of Week 19 (first week in May I think) to arrive by the end of May - about 12 weeks in total.

Which Audi group quoted you? Mine was with Sytner which is the biggest I think so they would probably have more manufacturing slots.
 
mine was Jct600, listers have just quoted around 13 weeks and 800 cheaper so will be ordering from them me thinks

The long wait Could be down to that specific Audi dealers allocation of cars which is set by Audi

Just a thought ...
 
I ordered mine back at the end of Feb and I've been given a delivery date of 2nd week of July!!!!

Ordered beginning of Feb, initial given 1st week in May, now the end of June !! Keep on telling myself, it's worth the wait, doesn't work, can't wait !!!!
 
audi upgrades
Well good news it's being delivered nextTuesday !
 
Wish i had listened to myself and not ordered, been given build week 32 with delivery to dealer first weeks of October which will make it 20 weeks
week 32 to October is about 8 weeks from production until it arrives which seems a very long time,
Anyhoo cannot ****** wait, got everything i wanted a little more cos ive got 4 months of extra savings to be had
 
audi upgrades
Just ordered BE+ 2.0 TDI Quattro Sportsback - can't even be put on system yet as delays with S tronic gearbox being blocked by Audi - anticipated delivery November!
 
Well I put my order in at the start of Feb and I've been informed that my car is delayed. Should have been here for 10th July. It's now going to be the last week of July!!!!
 
Order my A5 B/E/P third week in May, on transporter and hopefully get it next weekend or sooner, fingers crossed
