I remember seeing a thread asking for anyone with a white S3 whether they could help with the filming, but can't seem to find the thread. Anyway, the feature was on today's Crimewatch. Very scary stuff indeed. The attackers were obviously hell bent on getting the car for a robbery and I hope they catch them soon. Wonder if the victim now has the car back. Anyway, interested in catching up and confirming whether it was in fact someone on here who lent their car for the filming.

I believe Nawaid offered his
White S3 Saloon.

Yes it was Nawaid's car. He had videos on Instagram of them filming it.

Yeah it was @Nawaid that volunteered his car to use. If you search fast_teacher on Instagram then you'll see the videos he took whilst filming. If you do a reg check on the reg number they stuck on the front of his car, it brings up this. The chap from Watchdog that was asking for a car to use said the stolen car was white.

I think Veeight is doing us a tremendous service, getting the word out there to potential thieves that the S3 is a pile of crap and they are best stealing Golf R's for their illicit practises. I for one am very thankful of this double bluffing aid to my security.

Hey all - sorry I ain't been on here in ages. Having too much fun in the S3 :)

I have recorded it and will be uploading the clips on to youtube as my headteacher missed it :)

The guys car was white, not sure why it says grey on there. Filming took almost 6 hours and it was a cool experience. Most scene took 5-8 shots, the one where I shoot off down the street - after the 5th time, someone had seen my in a balaclava and called the police! Within 5 mins there were 2 police cars and a motorbike ;-)

The insurance were going to give him like for like but and to the insurance company that his family were scared and did not want to own another s3 so they gave him a top end A5.
