Hi folks have an Audi A5 3.0auto sline and its juddering and while car jumps as soon as i put into drive and also slowing down to d1 at lights etc goes up the gears fine and smooth until at engage point any help appreciated
A5 3.0auto gearbox judder when put in gear ?

It's at 72 000 60 plate. Just been serviced aswell going to get the haldex oil changed this week I think and see if any change. Strange as it only does it when warm But getting worse

The jump as you select drive is normal (see your handbook)

Make sure the garage uses the correct transmission fluid as the A5 does not have Haldex.

Thanks I'll get the fluid changed ASAP and Mabey see about the update the judder is pretty bad and makes a big chunk noise etc when selecting drive or slowing down to 1st gear seems as if it's also not smooth going along at slow pace in 3rd 4th etc the Rev counter is going up and down and car feels like it's slowing and fulling a little aswell hope it's nothing major bit worried now
Going in for fluid change and then a software update will let you guys know how I get on next week thanks
Had the engine mounts changes as they were weeping fluid and also had the transition fluid changed gear selection a lot smoother and also no bad judder which caused the mount to break cheers again lads remap next I think
