OK , some may have seen my earlier threads that I was not happy with local dealer. Seems they have had a change of heart , and have agreed the deal I was trying to get.

Going to order S3 Sportback Stronic in Daytona Pearl with Lunar seats and headlining. Leather /alcantara., comfort pack with ACC and parking system plus., ***., SD sat Nav., interior lighting pack., 5 year warranty.

Hopefully this colour will be a lttle more subtle. Want to blend into the crowd a bit .
Gone over budget , but hopefully this is a nice package.
Have to admit have toyed over dumping the sat nav and just using the good phone apps via the bluetooth and maybe going for B and O sound ....I am way over budget already so don't want to go for both. I have been told the audi updates are expensive and cheaper to get a tom tom ...
If I order this weekend hope to get it around Oct/Nov. My current A3 has warranty till Dec so even Dec will be fine except the weather !
Dealer wants £400 for Autoglym , but already have all the products so guess will do it myself. Will need to check out how to do this correctly....

Just took my personal plate off old car. Thought it would take weeks. The on lineservice did it straight away and got the new 5C within 48 hours ... progress indeed....

Looking forward to joining the S3 club and see if I get the now famous "rattle club"

Faith restored

If you can afford to, go for the B&O sound system. I have this system in my A4 Black Edition, and it is superb. I have opted for it in my new S3, rather than going for the sat nav.

I would also say dump the sat nav and opt for B&O it truly is amazing IMO. I wish I had gone for it in mines instead of ***

Good to hear that you're dealer actually wants to deal and sell cars !!

Strip out all of the non essential dealer supplied extras think they call it a starter pack or something and put it to the B&O as Madmo says it's well worth it.

Mmm coming to the conclusion of opting for B and O and dropping Sat Nav. In the last 5 years can only think off maybe 3 or 4 times i needed Sat Nav. Sound of course is everyday. Also adding Sat Nav later is easy compared to messing around on a sound system.
Will try to get to listen to them , but seems to be recommended over the ***....

Plus the SD sat nav can be easily added at any time, although it will probably cost you an extra £100 due to the dealer activation cost. However, an easy add later instead of a non-option like the B&O which can't be added later.

Sounds like a great car you've ordered. Now for the weight. Audi is one of the cheapest Nav systems for sale as an option. Most go over 1500 quid but at 495 it's a great price. But, as said above you can add it on at any point if you want too.
