I rather stupidly went over a kerb in a car park, I didn't see it and it was rather randomly placed.. :( It's broken some of the underside plastic and the end part of it is hanging off.

Can anyone offer some advice on what I should do? e,g, go straight to my dealer to fix? and does anyone have any estimations on how much this would cost? am I looking at thousands?

I did the same, ended up being the plastic that covers the shock mounts.
Think it cost about £50 to fix, nothing major really, you should be fine.

Front or back ? Could just be an air trip.

Pull away anything that's dangling low, flapping around or likely to come away. Can't imagine it costing too much as they're usually vac formed or moulded parts but I'd drop it round to the dealer rather than trying to explain over the phone to the parts guy.

It needs checking out you may have put your tracking out.

Thanks for your thoughts - I have booked it in for a check and quote on the repair. Fingers crossed there isn't any unseen damage and the plastic is cheap the replace

Hope you get it fixed and it turns out to be a (relatively) minor / inexpensive fix.

Good example though of why the front parking sensors should be active at all times - it may have warned you early enough to prevent / reduce the final outcome.
