So I'm going for the full black out apart from mirrors and Audi rings

Roof rails, window trim and wheels

I'm also thinking about getting my rear lights tinted, not pure black but deff a smoke or dark smoke

What's folks thoughts on the lights as the rest is definitely happening

Lights will look OK if not too dark IMO

Like a stealth bomber :)

Tinted rear lights are not for me. Bit too much 'Max Power' for me, but then I'm an old fart! lol

Your Avant will still look 'stealthy' enough without the addition of tinting the rear lights IMO

As always, just my opinion of course ... :hi:

Yes. The lights really do look nice!

Looks great Chop. The plasti dip. Window trims. Will it stand up to it?

Looks good Chop! What did you use to smoke the rear lights? I'm thinking of doing the same.

I've just finished blacking out all of the chrome and grey on my A4 Avant (including the rear diffuser and front lower spoiler/trim)... I've gone gloss black for all chrome so it ties in with the gloss front grille - cost me £330 to have the grille, front lip spoiler, rear diffuser, window chrome and roof rails glossed black. Photos below taken yesterday.

@chucky1 yeh been looking into this might go for a wrap instead, seen some plasti dip on my mates car and some of it has chipped a bit

@matt_cunningham1985 rear light tint off eBay, removed lights, was really easy and just built up layers until I was happy then dried them off in front of heater, actually looked lighter than that when it was wet and dried darker but think it's spot on now

Your motors looking good !

Thanks @Chop. ! - Quite fancy giving the light tinting a go. Do you know how easy it is to remove if it's messed up? How many layers did you give it?

The lights look spot on mate

Thanks XP in very happy with it

@matt_cunningham1985 think I done 3 or 4 good coats, not sure on the taking off bit though I don't think it would come off to handy once it's on

It goes on quite easy it's not as thick as paint so you can be really gradual with it if you want to take your time, I would say keep all the lights close enough to see the colour so you don't end up with one side darker but not to get overspray on them

I am deafo doing my lights, it looks awesome.

I seen some black roof rails on ebay from an rs4 I think, might be a better option that wrapping them

I hear what your saying about the roof rails but I kind of want them matt black and to match the window trim and the rear defuser

Don't want too many different shades of black all over the place

Nice one, thanks !

Good luck

That looks spot on mate, is the chrome wrapped?

@Scott.T Splitter is a fibreglass stvbek copy off eBay

@StuF Unfortunately the Chrome is still chrome, been playing with plasti dip a bit but think wrap will be a better finish
